Quarter6Quarter7 Film festival organized by MagyarHangya on 27th and 28th December

Magyarhangya is a social film distributor delivering movies to the audience of their choice. During the festival a selection of films will be aired at Sirály in one-two hour long blocks. This year, the main part will be played by short films. Movies mainly made by dazoo and the Sam Spiegel School of Jerusalem will address the questions of family, disengagement, war, but animation and comedy will also be present. Aside these, the film of a young Hungarian director, Gergely Ipacs's film "Adam's Cellar" will also be presented to the audience.

Magyarhangya is the first to introduce social film distribution in Europe. Emerging from the underground they are willing to address the Hungarian youth throughout the country. They involve the generation in the cultural bloodflow as active participants in the movement.
